A Tribute to Women

Context : Women gaining their position in Indian society

Decades ago, the human society was supposed to be dominated by men and it was never difficult for men as well as women to accept that. However, as years passed by, many women like Indira Gandhi, Sania Mirza e.t.c stunned the entire human civilization by exhibiting the excellence of their works in various fields. Consequently, women are considered equal contributors for the Indian development in the current century. It is definitely a welcome change.

Women have always been the pillars of strength of a family.
Let us understand how :

A Mother and A Wife : She is married to a supportive man and leaves behind her home, family and friends to meet the new phase of her life at an entirely different environment. She is now related to several people in several ways. She drifts from her childhood passion and serves the married life. She is calm, so gentle and caring, very sweet. Many of her little as well as great contributions to the family remain unnoticed, but still she is always the same mother and wife. Living in her presence is so peaceful and a life like heaven. Hardly caring about her own fantasies and dreams, she is completely devoted to help her husband, in-laws and children to progress and live a better life.

A Sister : She is always like your second mother, doesn't matter if she is elder than you or smaller. She approaches you everyday with a cute smile and asks about your progress and happenings. Whenever you are in trouble, it takes her no time to understand that and post-inspection, she calms you down with sweet words, soothing smile, that radiant eye and motivating enthusiasm. Her presence gives you a strength and you feel like doing something great for at least the expectations and the hopes she has. She will never ever leave you alone.

A Daughter : She is more focussed to keep winning laurels than think about anything else. Her actions are always dedicated to her parents. I have seen a couple of daughters who either don't have a father or a mother. In absence of a mother, she takes care of her father so well that the absence of a woman in the house is well filled by her cheerful attitude, wonderful habit of keeping the home clean and optimism. In absence of a father, she is always alert before her mother takes a decision. She always shares her progress and supports her mother by her intellect, hard work and warmth.

The origin of Women power can be well experienced by some of the excellent example set by women achievers who represent the Indian women force in Business, Sports, Politics, TV soap operas, Science, Glamour and many more. I am talking about some great personalities like Indira Nooyi, Saina Nehwal, Smt. Pratibha Patil, Smriti Irani, Kalpana Chawla, Priyanka Chopra, e.t.c. These women have set up the standards for women by their confidence, passion and achievements. They became the source of displaying the era of women which always existed. Their works have forced the Man dominated society to notice and respect the role women play in daily life for making the human resource better.

The origin has now marked the stage of several subsequent events
1. Girls in colleges and schools work extremely hard to achieve good results and hence keep gaining confidence to succeed.
2. Women have started experiencing freedom of speech, freedom of dressing, travelling, studying and many more.
(I personally wish they'll start experiencing the remaining freedoms one day)
3. Women are given opportunities to work for large organizations and giant projects.
The list is getting bigger and bigger.

I believe that the masculine intervention in the life of women must be minimized and they should be given chance to prosper and succeed. In parallel to this, men and women can always seek each other's advices to live happily.
Let the good days always keep rolling with equal rights of MEN and WOMEN
